Teppei Takazawa Photography

９９年に渡米、ニューヨーク市立大学クィーンズカレッジで美術を専攻する傍ら、プラット・インスティテュート、国際写真センターで写真を学ぶ。在学中から、グループ展に参加し、ダンサー、ミュージシャン、デザイナー等とのフォトセッションを多数行う。卒業後、Mark Markheim Inc. (マーク・マークハイム　ラボ) にてプリンタとして修行、有名写真家、Mark Seliger (マーク・セリガー) やWalter Chin (ウォルター・チン) のネガを多数プリントする。０５年１０月に帰国し上京。現在はViVi、GLAMOROUS等の通販サイトの写真を撮る一方、ポールダンサー・ジーナのフォト・ドキュメンタリー を作成中。

Teppei Takazawa is a Japanese photographer graduated from Queens College, City University of New York. In the beginning of his career, photography was a purely artistic method; however, later on he started taking pictures of dancers, musicians, and fashion models.

Those collaborations with various artists made him to be involved in the editorial photography. His images are based on his artistic background and great inspirations from films, music, and the New York City. After studying in New York for seven years, he finally went back to Japan and started his new career.
